How to play WordSnap

1. Start Quick Play. The 60-second timer begins with your first move.
2. Tap letter and cluster tiles in the order you want to form a word.
3. Submit the word. Accepted words score points based on tile values and length.
4. Used tiles leave the board and fresh tiles refill their spaces live.
5. Keep forming words until time expires.

Most tiles contain one letter. Some contain short clusters such as TH, ER, IN, QU, CH, SH, RE, or OR. A cluster tile adds all of its letters to your word in one tap and counts fully toward length bonuses.

In Quick Play, WordSnap supports a curated dictionary of valid 2-letter words, giving you quick options to clear awkward letter combinations or maintain your rhythm.

Valid words earn the point values shown on their tiles plus a linear length bonus: 4-letter words earn a +1 length bonus, and every additional letter adds another +2 without cap (+1 for 4 letters, +3 for 5, +5 for 6, +7 for 7, +9 for 8, +11 for 9, and continuing +2 per extra letter).

An invalid word is rejected with feedback, but carries zero point penalty—tap Clear to deselect and try another combination immediately.

If a familiar word is rejected, you can submit a missing-word report directly from the game screen for dictionary review.

Quick Play: Unlimited 60-second solo runs where you race the clock, set personal bests, and climb global leaderboards.

Daily Inferno: One shared 60-second challenge per day. Everyone gets the same board. Use a tile once to warm it and twice to ignite it; ignite all 16 tile positions to reach Full Inferno.

Snap Duel: An asynchronous 3-round, turn-based challenge against a friend or suggested rival featuring Classic Snap, Double Trouble (doubled tile/word values), and Triple Threat (tripled tile/word values) rounds.

Daily Missions: Separate daily Quick Play goals that refresh every day. Quick Play results advance mission progress.

Activity Streak: Tracks qualifying daily play independently from missions. Complete a Quick Play round, a Snap Duel round, or Daily Inferno to count today on your local calendar. Miss one day? Play the next day to save your streak.

You can play immediately as a guest with your local personal best saved on device. Online leaderboards show Quick Play scores for Today, This Week, and All-Time. Optional Google sign-in preserves your identity and scores across devices.
